It’s cool when unions go on a job strike when they’re unhappy with the working conditions under a company, but citizens can’t go on a tax strike when they’re unhappy with the living conditions under a government?

Totally agree. I thought the whole idea of the “Proletariat Revolution” was to free working people from oppression. Well if having half of one’s salary stolen every year at the threat of kidnapping and/or death isn’t oppression, I don’t know what is.

The real difference between religion and spirituality is that the religious feel (whether correctly or otherwise) that they have most of the answers already, and that whatever questions remain are of little consequence or have easy, painless resolutions. The spiritual know that they have precious few, if any real answers, but a ceaseless overabundance of questions - a disappointingly scant amount of which have any resolutions attainable in this life.
